The NPC is established as a separate non-profit association organisation by its founding members, the Nordic national bankers’ associations, one of them being Finance Denmark. The NPC will manage Nordic payment schemes in the future to facilitate payments within the Nordic countries. The main objective for the NPC is to contribute to harmonised payments in the Nordics.
This is the first open consultation performed by the NPC. The NPC Credit Transfer and Instant Credit Transfer Schemes are a set of rules, practices and standards to achieve interoperability for the provision and operation of credit transfers and instant credit transfers agreed at interbank level for DKK and SEK.
