Danish private investors have billions of Danish kroner in trust share certificates, which should mean that their savings will grow year by year. Unit trust certificates are often sold through the bank, which is something banks receive payment for.
Danish unit trusts are generally cheaper and also outperform foundations in European countries in terms of yield.
