Digital society

Denmark is one of the most digital societies. This is due to, amongst other things, the fact that the Danish financial sector is one of the most digitised in the world. For example, banks in Denmark have built up mobile banking and online banking, and have also contributed to financing and developing a secure identification system, NemID. This means that citizens have been able to safely and easily simplify their daily lives by using online self-service.

It is important to ensure that legislation is adapted to the digital age. In the financial sector, we are very aware of these challenges.
