The CM License is prepared by the former Capital Market Denmark now Finance Denmark and applies to employees working within the following functions (sell-side):
· Research
· Trading
· Sales
· Corporate Finance
· Compliance
Following an individual assessment, members can exempt employees from the certification requirement.
The CM License consists of a basic module including a test. There are 2 annual courses of two days duration with physical participation. As an alternative to the physical courses, an employee can also choose self-study. It is agreed in each member organisation whether an employee must attend the physical course or take the self-study. The test is a multiple choice test with 100 questions. The test is passed with a minimum of 70% correct answers.
To retain the certification, the employee must complete the mandatory annual update modules.
